FURD minibus tragedy update

The FURD Positive Futures team player who tragically lost his life in the M1 minibus accident on Monday 13th July has been named as 18-year-old Ahmed Hassan, who lived in the Firth Park area of Sheffield.

The other boys injured in the accident are all expected to make a full recovery.

Here is a photo of the team taken the day before the accident at the Mondiali Antirazzisti in Italy, after their match against Kerzebrozzer from Offenbach in Germany. The photo was kindly sent to us by the Kerzebrozzer team. The FURD team are in yellow shirts and Ahmed is on the far right of the back row, wearing an orange bib.
