'Unite to Stop the BNP' meeting in Nether Edge

Football Unites is supporting a public meeting being held in Nether Edge, Sheffield, this week, organised by Sheffield Unite Against Fascism. Everyone is welcome at the 'Unite to stop the racist British National Party' meeting at St Peter's Community Centre, Machon Bank, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 26th November. Speakers include representatives of the local Green, Labour and Liberal Democrat parties as well as other community activists. The meeting will focus on encouraging people to vote in the European elections to be held in June 2009. The BNP in Yorkshire could win a seat in the European Parliament with as little as 12% of the vote due to the proportional representation system used in these elections.
