Outside thereís an inflatable bouncy castle and slide, clowns making weird and wonderful balloon animals, whilst DJs provide the much needed summer sun vibe. A series of 5-a-side football tournaments have been arranged on the pitch with school children and young adults of various ages, whilst children on the day can play an impromptu match on Football Unitesí inflatable Streetkick football game. The day concludes outside with a full size match between Football Unitesí supported teams Sharrow Athletic taking on Sharrow United for the prestigious Community Cup.
Inside, there is more on offer for youngsters, such as another bouncy castle, face painting and arts and crafts. Popular with women is the henna painting, hair braiding, beauty therapy and nail art. There are stalls and information displays from local community groups, whilst the quality food on sale from around the world should give everyone a taste of something new.
The day starts at 1pm, finishing about 5pm on Sunday 14 May 2006. Entrance is free and via the gates on the John Street stand.
