Cup glory eludes brave Sharrow

Despite putting up one of their best ever performances in their brief history, Sharrow failed to make it into the Meadowhall League Cup semi-finals after going down 4-2 to premier league outfit Bradway

After turning round for the second half 2-0 down Sharrow put up a spirited fightback, despite injuries to several key players. Cool finishes from exciting teenage prospect Adnan Shaljani and veteran Mukid Khan pushed their vastly experienced opponents all the way

Sharrow will now hope to carry this form into the rest of their league campaign
