After a tricky period following the arson attack on the FURD offices at The Stables, the project has reopened in temporary premises with the Sheffield Futures Inclusion Team at Park Youth Centre, about a mile away.
The FURD Resource Library will reopen on the Ist September, though some of the books may be unavailable whilst they are cleaned from smoke damage.
Mail will be redirected from The Stables, which hopefully will reopen before the end of November. The temporary phone number is 0114 275 1546, whilst email addresses are unchanged.
Meanwhile FURD have received informal news that they have won £20,000 towards the cost of the Porter Project. Once the details are confirmed we will post the full story on this site.
