Sharrow Comeback Kings reach first Cup Final!

Sharrow Utd produced an amazing second-half comeback against Heeley and Sheffield FC to reach the final of the Regional Alliance Cup Final.

Down 1-4 at the break, a stirring half-time teamtalk by skipper Maqsood Akhtar had a dramatic effect with hat-trick hero Keith Ward leading the way. A brace from Ifty Afzal and a header from Asim Shazad saw Sharrow storm back to win 6-4, leaving their opponents shellshocked.

They now meet Blackburn Railway in the final at Frecheville on Sunday 4 April, kick-off 11.00am
