Surud topple unbeaten leaders

Surud United under-18 team started 2004 in style with a 2-1 triumph at Porter FC. Two goals from Adam Hassan condemned the league leaders to their first defeat of the season.

Meanwhile Sharrow United won their seventh match in a row with a thumping 5-1 win at Richmond FC. Tariq Akhtar starred with a hat-trick, with Ifty Afzal and Ayaz Khan completing a great fight-back from being behind until close to half-break.
