Chantwriters Community Writing Group

Reclaim the English language from the racists! Join other writers in spreading anti-racist words on the football pitches, in the stands and on the streets! FURD is teaming up with poet and Manchester City fan Ralph Hancock to form the Chantwriters Community Writing Group which will meet from 7-9pm on Wednesdays from 20th August at FURDīs home ground the Stables on Sharrow Lane, Sheffield. You do not need to be an established writer but will know that football is played and loved by men and women of all ethnic groups. Hopefully the group will be able to perform its work at the Off the Shelf festival, Sheffield, in October, publish on the web and in the United Colours of Football fanzine. For more details, contact Ralph on 01246 850023 or email
